Sony SAB is set to launch Wagle Ki Duniya – Nayi Peedhi, Naye Kissey, a reboot of the popular 80s series Wagle Ki Duniya. Originally created by RK Laxman and directed by Kundan Shah, the sitcom presented the everyday ordeals of the common man through the eyes of its protagonist Srinivas Wagle.
In a bid to rekindle the same magic, the makers have roped in Aanjjan Srivistav and Bharati Achrekar to reprise their roles of Srinivas and Raghika Wagle. The Wagle Ki Duniya reboot will feature Sumeet Raghvan and Pariva Pranati in the lead roles.
