Every day we hear stories about the impact of the 4th industrial revolution, new technology, disruptive innovation, and circular economy in our lives. Waste management and recycling have traditionally been a “static” industry, as changes were usually small and incremental. However, this pace of change is likely to accelerate, and we should be ready to recognize and be prepared for technology trends that will change waste generation rates, location, and processing methodologies. Below are some possibilities to consider More Info Click Here : Waste Management and Recycling?

Recycling old and damaged electronics can reduce the need to mine metals and it will reduce greenhouse gas emissions since old devices have been re-used for producing new ones. TVs, laptops, PCs, video consoles, cables, wires, smartwatches, remote controls, and mobile phones can all be recycled for metals such as copper, tin, iron, aluminium, carbon, titanium, gold, and silver. There are many materials used in making these electronic devices that can be recovered, reused, and recycle. More Info : Waste Recycling Services in Dubai

It is estimated that the UAE produces over 2.5 million tonnes of waste every day, with much of this coming from construction and demolition sites. In order to combat this growing problem, the UAE has implemented a number of initiatives aimed at increasing recycling rates. These include programs that offer incentives for residents to recycle their waste, as well as laws that mandate the recycling of certain materials. More Info Click Here : Waste Management services

Every month, around 129 billion disposable masks are used around the world. Large enterprises and independent researchers alike are now trying to come up with ways to recycle them and put them to their best possible use as an innovation. Here are the current plans and execution of the COVID-19 Mask Recycling. Research Taken Up For Recycling Masks Australian researchers plan to turn single-use Covid masks into road material. Their research showed that using recycled face mask fibre to construct only one kilometer of the two-lane road will consume approximately 3 million masks, sparing 93 tonnes of waste from being disposed of in landfills. A group of researchers from India’s University of Petroleum and Energy Studies analysed the composition of masks, gloves, and other items to discover that they may be broken down into bio fuel at extreme temperatures. As per a January parliamentary report, 40,000 tonnes of masks were discarded in France last year with no opportunity for recycling. Scholars have sat together to focus on this issue. This led to various strategies being formulated to combat mask pollution. More Info : Recycling Initiatives From Across The Globe

We live in a world that is doomed to collapse if nothing is done to minimize the harm, we are causing the environment. It might not be a conscious choice on our parts, but our lifestyle has affected the climate and environment, nonetheless. If we think about the beauty industry alone, they have contributed to such a significant percentage of waste. But thankfully enough, they have realised it and taken a seat behind the wheel to take control over the situation. Mostly working on the recycling and the eco-friendly aspect of their brands, these companies are looking at a more sustainable way of development without having a hugely negative impact on the environment. The idea behind zero-waste cities has been traveling around the world to promote a circular economy lifestyle. It involves a consistent joint effort, on a national & community level, to achieve such a shift in lifestyle. There are companies and non-profit organizations that are working day and night to spread awareness amongst communities regarding climate change. The need for sustainable green solutions and climate-friendly lifestyles has only grown by the day as the waste we produce is growing with it. Now, either we pollute and compromise the only planet that has life on earth or we try and do our best to save it. To do that, experts have come up with a circular economy framework that eliminates the factors causing climate change. Based on this framework, an idea emerged for zero-waste cities. To this date, it is considered as the highest ambition of the Paris Agreement. More Info : Zero Waste Solutions | Waste Recycling in Dubai | YES Full Circle

In certain government jurisdictions, producers must comply with EPR requirements for items. This is to promote proper recycling and extensive sustainable recycling for certain materials. Producer organizations must file EPR returns annually. An EPR return for waste is just like ITR or Income Tax Return. As a producer, they must file an account of waste managed by them or their PROs throughout the previous year so that the Govt knows that you are fulfilling your obligation towards environmental sustainability goals. According to a UN study, about 50 million tonnes of electronic waste were disposed of worldwide. E-waste or electronic waste recycling is the process of recovery material from old devices to useful new products. Most of these electronic products end up in landfills, and only 20% of e-waste is recycled. E-waste should be properly disposed of as it contains various toxic and hazardous chemicals and materials that are released into the environment. In addition to the rise in the use and purchase of electronic items such as smartphones and laptops, e-waste has also risen. More Info Click Here : E-Waste Recycling
